A graduate of Normal Community High School, Jake is from Central Illinois. Jake attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He then attended Chicago Kent College of Law and worked for the City of Chicago’s Corporation Counsel while in school. After graduating, Jake represented clients in traffic, DUI, and criminal misdemeanors and felonies, and administrative hearings in Cook County. He then returned home and became an Assistant State’s Attorney in McLean County. Jake is also a veteran, having served three years in the Army.
